It is a self-governing group, a social solidarity initiative that started in 2011 in Athens. 

The Other Man team cooks food in public places in Athens and the rest of Greece, centered on the space it has at M. Alexandrou Street in Metaxourgio.  

To date, The Other Man and his volunteers have distributed over 12 million portions of food throughout Greece.
